Pacu and Chao Praya Catfish
Bungsamran is not just about fighting the Mekong catfish, many of Siam Fishing Tours customers want to fish for 3 or 4 days, and pulling in thousands of kilos of catfish can get tiring! That is when we start introducing new styles targeting some of the many other species resident at Bungsamran. Gary Price of Sydney was no exception, having bagged him numerous catfish already we decided to slow it down and have some time on light tackle. An hour or two later we had a number of Pacu under our belt, and at sunset we took several decent size Chao Praya catfish. Gary insisted I fished with him again today, and I got lucky with a nice 23kg Siamese Carp.
