Guided Snakehead Fishing Safari

Introduction

This package is for the angler who loves to fish in remote areas and enjoys nature. The target species and fishing style is primarily lure fishing for the ferocious Giant Snakehead and, it is also possible to pre-bait and fish for Wild Indian Carp and other bottom feeders at certain times of the year. A Guided Fishing Safari in Thailand will take you into Thailand's more remote inland regions fishing in Kanchanaburi Province some 5 or 6 hrs from Bangkok, consequently a minimum itinerary of 3 day's is needed. Khao Leam Dam boast's some of the best wild fishing opportunities in Thailand. The 1 and 2 week itinerary's, also tie in a day or two targeting Thailand's Giant Mekong Catfish and the mighty Arapaima, too provide the angler with a more diverse Thai Fishing experience.

Fishing from a Thai-style long-tail boat surrounded by mountains and jungle on Khao Leam  is nothing short of breathtaking. This fishing safari is out in the relative wilderness of Khao Leam National Park, so we are deep into nature while fishing here. It is important to be aware that this trip requires a little physical fitness & tolerance of sometimes hot conditions, since you will be lure casting most of the day in often high temperatures. However, by night, we stay in an air-conditioned bungalow resort with an on-site restaurant ensuring time to relax and soak up the atmosphere and to take a good nights sleep between each day's fishing.
