Palm Tree Lagoon- Description

Palm Tree Lagoon is the venue seen on John Wilsons' Dream Fishing series shown frequently on Discovery Channels. As a result Siam Fishing Tours receive an ever growing number of enquiries requesting that we include this venue in our fishing itineraries. In response to those requests we have now managed to locate this venue. Palm Tree Lagoon is in fact not unlike many other Thai Fishing Venues, with perhaps two main exceptions. Firstly the owner is very proud of his stock of fish, and rightly so, since as far as we are aware he has the biggest weighed Arapaima we know of, at 224kg. Additionally he has some enormous Chao Praya Catfish, as well as some nice size Pacu, and some other more obscure fish species such as the Thai Redtail Alligator Gar etc.

Anyone who has been fishing in Thailand at various venues, will understand that many Thai Fishing Parks can be quite rustic, and Palm Tree Lagoon is similar, although still a pleasant place to spend a day or two fishing.

Palm Tree Lagoon is one of a growing number fisheries here in Thailand that are becoming immortalised in the media by various fishing celebrities. In the case of Palm Tree Lagoon John Wilson and his brother can be seen (repeatedly!) on discovery channel catching numerous species both Thai and Amazonian Species at this venue. As with so many Thai Fishing Venues its often possible to target 5 or 6 different species, all of decent dimensions.
