Introduction |
Thailand's predator fishing is coming to the forefront of the Thai angling scene in the last few seasons, since the opening of several new fishing venues that have focused on the predator species. At least 3 venues we know of now boast Arapaima touching 200kg, and the biggest record weighed catch we know of is 224kg. Fishing in Thailand for world's largest scaled fish the Arapaima, Barramundi, Chaopraya Catfish, Giant Snakehead, Amazonian Redtail Catfish, and a multitude of other species that can be targeted using lures, flies, livebaits and deadbaits, is currently one of the best packages to be considering right now. Siam Fishing Tours currently target four venues for these species. Bungsamran, Gillhams Fishing Resort, Lake Monsters and Boon Mar Ponds.
